Blue Truck is looking for a hands-on builder to lead repairs and warehouse operations at our Ontario, CA facility...

About Blue Truck

Blue Truck is a national furniture logistics company that’s reshaping how customers experience delivery — especially when it comes to big, important purchases like sofas, beds, and dining tables. We specialize in white-glove, in-home delivery for some of the fastest-growing furniture brands in the country, combining smart logistics with a seamless delivery experience and high-quality support.

Founded by a team with backgrounds at Uber and other high-growth startups, we’re using technology to bring the furniture supply chain into the modern world. Our focus is simple: let furniture brands shine at what they do best — designing and selling amazing products — while we handle the heavy lifting of delivering them to customers’ homes safely, quickly, and professionally.

Blue Truck is growing fast. We've built a coast-to-coast network and earned a reputation for service that stands out in an industry that doesn’t always get it right. For people who are ambitious, solution-oriented, and excited to be part of a company that's still early in its journey, this is a rare ground-floor opportunity. High performers here aren’t just employees — they’re builders helping shape the future of the company (and their own careers along with it).

What You’ll Do

This is a hands-on, versatile role that blends craftsmanship with warehouse leadership. During the week, you’ll run our in-house repair shop — handling minor furniture repairs, touch-ups, and prepping pieces for delivery. On Saturdays, you’ll step into a leadership role, overseeing warehouse operations to keep everything moving smoothly.

Here’s what your week will look like:

Furniture Repair & Quality Control (Weekdays):

  • Inspect incoming furniture for damage, wear, or quality issues.

Repair wood, fabric, leather, and metal furniture using professional tools and techniques.

  • Use woodworking skills — sanding, staining, fastening, and structural repairs — to bring pieces back to life.

  • Perform traditional furniture repair techniques such as burn-ins, color matching, grain replication, and detailed touch-up work.

  • Document repairs and maintain a clean, organized work area.

  • Assist with general warehouse operations, including unloading inbound shipments once or twice per week.

Warehouse Supervision (Saturdays):

  • Oversee warehouse activities like receiving, staging, and outbound loading.

  • Lead and support warehouse team members, keeping operations safe and efficient.

  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment.

  • Solve problems on the fly and maintain a clean, organized warehouse.

What We’re Looking For

  • Carpentry or Woodworking Skills: Hands-on experience with wood repair, finishing, assembly, or general carpentry work. (Furniture repair experience is a plus, but not required; if you have a basic background, we’ll train the right person.)

  • Leadership Ability: Experience supervising or leading warehouse, shop, or field crews.

  • Warehouse Experience: Familiarity with warehouse operations; forklift experience is a big plus.

  • High initiative, problem-Solver: You're not just a problem solver, you're a problem spotter. You spot issues early and take pride in fixing them.

  • Physically Capable: Able to lift, move, and handle large pieces of furniture throughout the day.

  • Organized & Detail-Oriented: Whether repairing a piece or staging outbound shipments, you're methodical and careful.

  • High initiative: You have an open mind and a keen sense of observation.

Schedule

  • Tuesday–Friday: Repair/warehouse support (typically 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM)

  • Saturday: Warehouse Supervisor shift (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM, hours may vary slightly based on volume)

Some flexibility is needed depending on business needs.

Why You’ll Love It Here

  • Competitive pay based on experience

  • Health, dental, and vision insurance

  • Paid time off and holidays

  • Real opportunities to grow as Blue Truck expands

  • A team-first environment where craftsmanship and hustle are valued every day

If you’re a hands-on builder who’s ready to take the next step, we’d love to meet you.
